This scheme provides grant support for the supply of equipment to enable older people without sufficient means to continue to live securely in their houses. The scheme is funded by the Dept. of Environment, Community & Local Government and is administered through the Family Resource Centre
Who is eligible for support?
People aged 65 or over and have limited means & resources
Living alone or with someone who is also eligible
Living in the area covered by Trim FRC
Able to benefit form the equipment supplied
Willing to maintain contact with the FRC

Trim FRC are delighted to announce that we are supporting the Meath Friend & Mend Scheme in Trim. The scheme is supported by Meath Volunteer Centre. Friend & Mend is a FREE minor home repair volunteer service to older people. We are gathering a pool of trustworthy local volunteers to carry out minor repairs and jobs around your home and garden. The client only pays for the cost of materials. donations are always welcome
